ON TOP OF THE HOMONYMOUS NATURAL RESERVE, THE SERRA NEGRA PANORAMA POINT IS THE HIGHEST PLACE ON THE SOUTH OF SAL ISLAND.

Located on the SouthEast coast of Sal, the Serra Negra Panorama point lays on top of the Natural Reserve of Serra Negra, from which you can enjoy an amazing view of the south of the Island and of the Serra Negra beach, the main nesting beach for the endangered loggerhead turtles (Caretta Caretta).

Moreover, the top of the Serra Negra Mountain is an important nesting habitat for birds, such as the Red-billed tropicbird, osprey, and more.
