Get ready for a different kind of Buggy Adventure as you explore Boa Vista at night, driving through the Viana Desert and enjoying the island under the Cape Verdean night sky. Your tour starts with a convenient hotel pickup, followed by a safety briefing and preparation at our base. Once everything is ready, you’ll set off for your night adventure.
The first part of the tour takes you along the normal road towards the village of Rabil. From there, you’ll leave the road behind and head into the Viana Desert, one of the natural wonders of Cape Verde.
Once in the desert, you’ll stop for a moment to enjoy the surroundings and, most importantly, the night sky. Away from the lights of the towns, the desert is a great place to look up and see the stars. If the conditions are right, you may even be able to see the Milky Way.
After some time in the desert, you’ll continue towards the Church of Fátima, where you’ll make a second and final short stop before heading back towards Sal Rei.
The tour then continues with a drive through Sal Rei, giving you the chance to see the town at night before returning to our base, where your hotel transfer will be waiting.
To make the experience safe and comfortable, our buggies are equipped with special lights for night driving, giving you good visibility as you drive through the roads and sandy areas of Boa Vista.
A simple but very different way to experience the island: with the desert, the stars and Boa Vista after dark.

We do also offer, under request, baby seats for children up to 3 years old
For children under 8 we recommend choosing a Buggy Excursion.
Buggy Tours: Each buggy is equipped with a backpack where you can store your personal items securely.
Quad Tours: Quads do not have built-in storage, so any items you bring must be carried on you at your own risk.
